Lake & Forest at the Mink

This part of Washington State features the most unpopulated section in terms of human presence.  Its the most western side of continental U.S.A. and features the National Olympic Park, which has the only rain forest in the mainland.  Also has a lot of rugged beach fronts along the Pacific ocean.

This area has always been a favorite of mine, I usually come in here to refresh mind & body, away from my daily city life routine.  Nature & ecosystem at its best with all its wild life from whales to elks and eagles.

I would like to share in here the beauty of this special place.  I have tried my best to capture its beauty, even just half of it.  And by presenting it in here, my hope is that it will instill upon all of us the need to help and preserve whatever is left out there (where ever you may be)...of Mother Nature.

"Green Point" an environmental concern!

A not so wild deer on the forest park clearing...a rare treat!
With its virgin temperate rain forest, one can find intact stand of coniferous trees, wild herds of Roosevelt elk, miles of spectacular coastline (one might see pods of whales nearby), eagles flying over heavily forested mountain slopes, alpine parklands, and glacier capped mountains, Washington State Olympic PeninsulaNat. Park/Forest is an area of exceptional beauty and scenic splendor.

Beauty & Nature is Synonymous.  Let's leave it this way!
